Build a family history album without guessing missing facts

A family history photo album needs clear boundaries between remembered facts and uncertain details. Start with a branch of the family, a place or a period that your own records can support. Add your text to dated photo records and identify uncertainty in the note rather than letting a confident caption conceal it. This product arranges photos and writing; it does not research genealogy or verify historical claims.

Fictional composition example

This fictional example brings together photographs of one home across several visits. The writer knows which room is shown but is unsure of an older picture’s precise occasion. Their note says that the occasion is uncertain, while later records have clear dates. The book follows the home’s changes without manufacturing a family timeline.

  1. Choose a limited historical subject and locate the available photo records using dates and tags.
  2. Write notes that distinguish what you know from what you are uncertain about, then arrange the selected records into a book.
  3. Review the order and annotations in the exported PDF; do not present a guessed relationship or date as a confirmed fact.
Does the service research my genealogy?

No. You supply the photographs and notes; the editing workflow does not research or verify family relationships.

What if the date or occasion is uncertain?

Say that it is uncertain in your note. Do not turn a guessed caption into a confirmed fact.

Should I cover the entire family at once?

A place, period or branch supported by your own records can make a clearer first book than an unrestricted collection.
